Data Protection Statement of Selwyn College: Users of the College Network

This statement explains how Selwyn College handles and users information we collect when you register your equipment to use on our network. The IT department requires your User ID/Email Addresss to be associated to the equipment you are registering, along with your name, and type of user. This is for network security and tracking your usage, and to assist us in being able to provide IT support to you. The information is stored for the duration of your usage of the network, and should be erased within 6 month of last seeing a device registered to you connect to the network. All data is stored locally on Selwyn Servers.
